**Temporarily doing cat sitting only - in your home or mine** (I have a new pup addition of my own so dog sitting is suspended for a bit while we adjust to our new family member!) I’ve cared for my own menagerie of pets for 13 years and counting! I worked as a vet tech for 3 years and have knowledge in areas of behavior, administering medications, proper harness and leash control and most importantly - love! I am open to any and all questions - please don’t be shy! I have 3 cats and 1 young dog. I have a big heart for animals but most importantly the knowledge on safety and care that they need - especially when away from their pet parents! I am 34 and live with my husband Jeremy, who is also a lover of animals and experienced in their care and treatment. Your pet will be living in the lap of luxury while under my care! I work full time so I am able to do potty breaks(dogs) and play in the early morning, at noon, and multiple time after 5pm. Cats + Dogs are allowed on the furniture, blankets, bed, anywhere they’re comfortable. My own hobbies include gardening, fitness, hiking and drawing/painting. I look forward to any questions you may have and would love to meet you and your pet! Additional details/specifics - I work Mon-Fri 8 to 5 in the next town over, and return home around noon for play, lunch and potty breaks(dogs). I am home on the weekends and I don’t make any personal plans while your pet is under my care (they get my full love and attention!). Scheduling is always flexible and cancellations are flexible as well! I live in a three-bedroom ranch, and the only pets I currently have are three cats and one young, friendly dog. We have almost 1 acre of land, it is currently unfenced. Being a veterinary technician in the past, I am experienced with proper pet care and safety, leash walking and harnesses, ensuring that your pet will never be lost on my watch or slip out of my house/hands! All dogs are leashed and also double leashed with a slip leash to ensure if the regular leash fails, the slip leash will not. We are up in the woods where it is private and there are only a few neighbors, no other animals in close proximity. Your dog would get a walk in the morning, some play at lunchtime, and a walk in the evening and before bed. Your cat/s would get play am, afternoon and pm. Your pet will get interactive play and care consistently! There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with animals.

Kat visited our house twice a day for 17 days to feed and care for our Cat. She visited twice before we departed to learn what was needed and get to know our cat. She gave us regular updates via email including some fantastic pictures. We could not be more happy with her, she is like family. We will certainly be using her when we next go away. Thank you Cat.

All pets have access to my full home, furniture, blankets, beds and toys (cats have a dedicated room/space but will absolutely be able to explore if they’re comfortable). I do have one large crate if needed, as well as bowls, brushes, toys, slip leashes, etc! If I am sitting in your home, I will follow whatever instructions given and make sure your pet is properly cared for! I keep everything neat, clean and organized and only use what is needed to care for your pet! I can do drop in visits throughout the day (morning, night) or spend the night if desired as well!

I love all dog breeds, I just need to know if there are any temperament issues or bad behaviors. It will not stop me from watching your dog, it will just help me be prepared for the visit!
A typical day
**Temporarily cat sitting only** I live on a quiet street in the woods, which is a great place to walk your dog or for your cat to enjoy the views(from inside of course!) I also live up the hill from beautiful Osborndale park with lots of trails and open grass for walking your dog. My husband and I are big hikers, so if desired we can take your pup on a nice long hike through the woods in the local town! Should your pet stay with me: Dogs: During the week, since I work, your dog would be walked/fed in the morning at about 7am, then again I would return home at lunch (12pm) for walks/meal/treats/etc, and I would return home at about 5:15-5:30pm for the rest of the evening (meal/play/multiple walks/etc). During your pet's stay I would remain home during the weekend for their care and companionship! Cats: Cats of course would not be walked but would get the same care and attention within the home as well as the same schedule. Your cat would have its own room to itself, nice twin bed with blankets and pillows for snuggling. Or I have a large semi finished basement with chairs and a couch, rugs, scratchers and toys. Very cozy and warm accommodations! Your cat would also get time out of the room as long as they are comfortable, at which point my cats and dog would be put away and kept separate so that your cat can have time to explore and play out in the main living area multiple times a day. However, they would always have the option to stay in their room if they desire/if they’re shy.

Availability
**Temporarily cat sitting only** I work full time 8-5 - dogs will get a walk and meal (based on their own individual feeding schedule) at 7am, 12pm (I come home from work/can go to your home if close to my job), and again walk and play/feeding when I get home at 5:30pm. Cats will get the same attention minus an outdoor walk of course. I then spend all evening with them and on the weekends I remain with them as well. *Cats: Your pet would have their own comfortable space but also get time out to explore and play if they’re comfortable! (my own pets would be away in separate rooms for safety).
