Pet care experience
I grew up with a house full of animals and am definitely more of an animal person than a people person lol. I used to volunteer at a few shelters and have learned a lot more about animal behavior in the process. This has helped a lot in being able to read different animals that come in and out of my home; which is crucial to be able to adjust accordingly and have them be happy while they’re here. I am home full time, and I am planing to take on Rover more full time now that my daughter is in school. I have a golden retriever puppy and a cat. It’s important that any animal I sit be good with other dogs and also with cats. I am also a super big cat lover, everyone always jokes that I would be the crazy cat lady if it weren't for my daughter and husband to reign me in. I love all animals, but cats will always have a special place in my heart. I would LOVE to sit cats either in my home or in yours, which ever is preferred and more comfortable.

Great Dog sitter, Kassie kept us updated with pictures almost everyday for the 2 weeks she had him.
Kassie did great with Kong and our kitties. Very prompt and sent pictures too! She even washed our linens when our cats had an accident. 5 stars. Highly recommended!

I have a fenced in yard, gates to separate the downstairs and upstairs (mainly because I have a puppy). I allow my animals on the furniture, but I won’t if that’s not something you allow in your home. I only use positive reinforcement training methods for my own pets and I will only use those type of methods if there is ever any kind of correction I need to make while your dog is staying with me.

I have no breed preferences. My only stipulation is that they don’t chase my cat, they’re good with small children, and they are friendly with other dogs.
A typical day
I have a lot of different walking routes that I take my dog on through out my neighborhood daily. We also regularly go to dog friendly beaches and hikes, which I am more than willing to take your dog to as well. We sit outside a lot and play fetch or run around with our dog in the yard.

I am home full-time so my full attention is on my animals and the animals I watch in my home. I will be able to give frequency potty breaks as well as regular walks and play sessions.
