Pet care experience
I have a lot of personal and work-related experience. As a young child I took care of group of tetra fish (and one suckerfish named Mr.Clean), multiple dwarf hamsters, and a loving cockapoo named Lollie. Currently I have a young orange cat named, Tommy. I took him in as a very sick stray kitten, who I nursed back to health. I am very happy to say he is incredibly healthy and very goofy now. Additionally, I have almost 3 years of experience as a veterinary assistant. Working at a vet clinic has given me a lot of knowledge on animal husbandry, and basic medical care. It has taught be to be sensitive to each individual pet's need.

Kasey was wonderful to work with. She goes above and beyond taking care of any pet. She took extra care of my dog on the last overnight. When my dog was sick, she took great care to care for and cleanup after the dog. She was great to have watch my dog.
Kasey is amazing! She kept in touch with us throughout our trip and was always on time. She has great knowledge and love for dogs. Highly recommend her!
Kasey did a wonderful job with our two kitties, including one high maintenance, stressed out boy who is unhappy about being moved from another state. Communicative & respectful of our home. Thank you!

I am currently in an apartment with a cat. I try to make sure I am aware of all behavioral, general care and medical needs. Due to not know how Tommy acts with other animals I am not offering boarding at this time.

I definitely would love to know if your pet has any medical or behavior issues. Keeping them calm, safe, and healthy while in my care is my top priority.
A typical day
Knowing what your pet likes to do for fun definitely helps. I like to make sure pets are getting adequate play time, and mental stimulation. Sniffing is incredibly good for mental stimulation as well as lick mats, and puzzle games. Places for walks will depend on what you tell me about your pet. For example I would avoid areas with a lot of other animals present if they are leash/animal reactive. Or try to go some place less busy if cars make them nervous.

Availability
I work fulltime at a veterinary clinic. My availability is usually open for the majority of the weekend, and one alternating weekday. I am definitely open to stopping by early mornings or after work to take care of your pet's needs, especially if you work evenings/nights!
