Fenced back yard - space to roam!

Pet care experience

**Please read my entire profile prior to booking - thank you! Being with and caring for dogs brings me great joy! So many of us lead busy lives, yet want to enjoy having a pet. This is one reason I've hesitated to become a dog owner myself and also the reason I feel inspired to lend other pet parents a hand. I look forward to hanging out with your dog at home, playing fetch in the back yard, or taking them on a walk through my neighborhood which is quite woodsy and has very little traffic. My partner Josh, a definite dog lover, will also be present during most in-home bookings, so there'll be 2 of us to help keep your dog entertained. I'll send photo/video updates throughout your dog's stay, but if you prefer limited communication, just let me know.

Kasey continues to be an amazing help in caring for my pup. I trust her fully to give my dog the best care with lots of love, plenty of exercise and a safe environment. Wouldn't want anyone else caring for my girl.

As always Cully had a great stay with Kasey. I always feel confident and calm knowing Cully is in her care. This was her fourth stay and I will continue to have Kasey as my first choice in dog care.

I only board one dog at a time (or up to 2 from the same household), so I can give the most attentive care possible and to increase the likelihood that everyone will get along. Our household/neighborhood is overall pretty quiet/mellow. I am happy to uphold any aspects of your dog's training regimen that you would like me to follow during their stay.

Information Kasey S. would like to know about your pet

I'd love to know about: - your dog's general temperament/personality - any special needs/quirks they might have - any triggers/things we need to avoid Dog Preferences: - I'm partial to medium-to-larger breeds and dogs who are generally well-socialized (dog/leash aggression is not a deal-breaker and something I can work with, though). - At this time, I am unable to board puppies under one year old or dogs over 10 years old. General preferences: - Leash-training -- though I do have a fenced yard, I prefer to board dogs that are leash trained and accustomed to daily walks. I find it's the most effective way to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise during their stay (especially for younger/larger dogs) and to help burn off excess energy. - Your dog must be fully house-trained (no pee pads, please) - I live in a split-level home with stairs both inside and out. If stairs are a challenge for your dog for any reason, please let me know so we can figure out if there's some way that I can still accommodate them. - Destructive behaviors/separation anxiety - if your dog has ever exhibited any destructive/anxious behavior either in your home or with a sitter (i.e. destroying furniture/other items or any house-training issues in new environments, excessive barking, needs to be in the same room with the human at all times, etc.) please disclose that when you contact me so we can talk about the situation and make sure it would end up being a good fit. - Your dog would need to be ok with sleeping outside of the bedroom. Otherwise, we should be good to go!! Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

A typical day

If I'm coming to you, I'm happy to take your dog to any parks/good walking spots near your house -- I'm always open to suggestions. If they are staying with me, I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood that's great for walks, and there's plenty of space to run and play in my backyard in between. If they are more mellow and prefer to lounge at home, I'm good with that, too.
