I’ve had dogs in my life since I was three years old and have been the primary caregiver and trainer for the family dogs since I was 11 years old. Knowing the ins and outs of pet care has been important to me for a long time—I have continued to learn as much as I can by volunteering at several shelters and working as a senior kennel staff member at an off-leash doggy daycare. My background has given me a ton of experience (over 18 years!) working with all types of dogs—from puppies to the elderly, aggressive breeds, anxious temperaments, pups with special needs, big and small dogs and everything in between! I’m a compassionate and creative problem-solver who works hard to keep my clients’ pups entertained with new activities and games while at the same time maintaining a consistent schedule that matches what they’re used to at home. With your permission, I might bring a treat or two upon first meeting, as I know some dogs take some time to get used to strangers. I also use a very calm voice to encourage the dogs to warm up to me in their own time and never rush my agenda on a new client.
