I'm a huge animal lover and LOVE dogs! I'm very comfortable around all types of dogs, big or small. While not all dogs are as receptive or friendly as others, I've learned that showing compassion, love, and attention helps ease the dog to feel more comfortable with you. Growing up, my family had a chocolate Labrador Retriever puppy that we named Dude who is still around. I learned at a young age how much responsibility it truly takes to raise a puppy. Today, I have two dogs: Olivia and Nala who are both three years old. I have a vast amount of experience pet sitting dogs for my relatives, neighbors, and friends. In 2016 I volunteered in Thailand at a dog/cat animal rescue shelter called Soi Dog Foundation. This shelter helps rehabilitate injured cats and dogs as well as finds forever homes to strays. While I was there I learned how to properly interact with dogs to make them feel comfortable and trust you. The organization also taught helpful techniques to implement if the occasion arose from dog confrontations during walks to disobeying orders.
