Hi, I'm Karye! I'm currently in school at Collin College studying Biological Science and am looking for a job involving taking care of animals. I currently have a 4 year old rescue dog named Loki whom I've trained. He was severely abused but is now such a healthy, good boy! In the process of training him, he has helped me become a better person, too. Loki is a German Malinois, Australian Cattle dog, and Labrador Retriever mix. In the beginning of 2019, in California, I helped train my co-worker's puppy, starting at 4 months old and I would dog-sit almost every day, including over-nights. Their puppy's name was Bucky, a Labrador Retriever. Sadly, I have moved states, but I am still looking forward to other animals I can help take care of, here in Texas. In 2018, one of my brothers got a new puppy, an Australian Shepard named Luna, whom I was able to take for walks and help train often. In 2017, I often dog-sat my oldest brother's dog, a German Shepard named Bailey, who loved to go to the dog park with me almost every day. In 2016, my roommate got a Golden Retriever puppy named Alex, whom I also helped train and take care of every day. From 2014 to 2019, I would also often take care of my ex's pets including a Labrador retriever named Choco, Chihuahua named Brandy, and kittens: Lola, Louis, and Mister. Growing up, I've helped train and take care of my family pets: a Grate Dane named Cleo and a Cat named Winnie. I would also watch and take care of my friends' pets for some time such as guinea pigs, lizards, a tarantula, fish, and of course, dog and cats. I am super excited to be on Rover and look forward to meeting you and your animal family! I love taking dogs on walks, going to the beach or park, having doggy playdates, and giving lots of affection to all animals! Please contact me for any further information.
