Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my whole life. I delight in being around dogs. I worked in animal rescue through my 20s. I did really well with the shy dogs. Now I have a wonderful fur family of my own. Your dog would be cared for as one of my own. I am very attuned to animals, and I strive to make sure any animal in my presence is happy and content. My favorite activities with dogs are hiking, swimming, playing with tug toys, and cuddling. I worked hard to put up 260 feet of fencing so my dog has a yard to play in. I am that committed to my dog's happiness! I love training dogs, so I would work on any behaviors that you want to enforce. I am also very communicative, so you would get lots of photos and updates.

This was the second time Karuna watched my puppy Guinness and he had a fantastic time. I know that because of how tired he was when we picked him up from playing all day ;). We both are looking forward to next time!

For the last 2+ years I have lived with a dog that Karuna raised. He is the gentlest, most well-behaved dog I have ever known. Clearly he was raised with love and was trained with the intuitive understanding of animals that Karuna brings to her work. I also had the joy of caring for Karuna's two cats for several months. Again, these playful, gentle felines reflect Karuna's amazing ability to connect with -- and attentively care for -- animals.
Karuna is a kindhearted soul, with a deep love for animals and a gentle energy that puts them at ease. She's very attuned to the needs of both dogs and cats, and prioritizes their comfort and happiness.

It would be best if your dog gets along with mine so I can let them play together and take them on outings together. I would also prefer that your dog is well-behaved around cats, though I can make some accommodations if not.
A typical day
I often take my own dog to the dog park and on hikes, and I would do the same with yours if you'd like. I have a large fenced yard, and your dog can play with mine all day long if they hit it off. I am an expert at finding a dog's favorite scratchy places, so there is always lots of love-time.
