We've cared for dogs since childhood and honestly couldn't imagine life without a four legged friend to share our day with. If you have a pup with lots of energy, our household is a great fit- we do a daily run/hike in Chugach State Park with our fur child Lola. We live up Rabbit Creek road and have two cable dog-runs so pups can hang out in the sunshine stress free. Our dog care philosophy: lots of positive reinforcement, lots of exercise, lots of love. What's good for us is good for them! (We also love older pups and are happy to do a senior walk in the morning at a slower pace-who doesn't need more time to sniff the flowers these days?)

Karsen and Nick are so nice! I really appreciate how active they are and my little Leeloo loves going over there. She practically runs me over when I pull into their driveway!
Karsen is a wonderful dog sitter. She is a very active human so she is able to give dogs plenty of exercise opportunities. Willoughby (my dog) always loves getting to spend with her!
Karsen is the best dog sitter we have ever had! She understands what dogs need: exercise, leadership, and community! Our dog, Lucy, is always thrilled to spend some time at her second home with karsen!

I would like to know if your pup has any personality idiosyncrasies, space/sleeping preferences (e.g. sleeps in a crate or on a dog bed), and leash/recall training. Because of our neighbors, we can't take pups that struggle with barking.
A typical day
Daily runs (1 hour minimum), lots of play (fetch, tug, enrichment puzzles). And cuddles!

Availability
Karsen is a student and Nick has a job that allows him to work from home so we're very flexible. We're rarely home away from for more than an hour or two- the dogs come with us almost everywhere.
