Pet care experience
I have had a dog since I was 9 years old, and I have worked really hard taking care and training him. About 5 years ago, I started helping a breeder with AKC German shepherds. I worked with her for about 4 years until I decided I wanted something more challenging, so I became a dog trainer at Positive Pets! I have always loved meeting new dogs and teaching them new things. I have about 4 years of experience with housesitting and most of my clients hear about me from their friends!

Karly did a great job with Zion! We are now repeat customers of hers. She carries over the training we have been doing and keeps things consistent for our buddy. I never worried about Zion once while I was gone knowing that he had Karly and her dog Koby to keep him company. She is reliable and a great communicator. Will be booking her again in the future!
We’re happy we chose Karly to take care of our puppy! It was the first time we left our pup for a weekend, and we opted for house sitting option. Karly responded to our messages in a timely manner, and sent us checkin photos and videos. We’ll definitely think of Karly next time we’re going out of town.

Our facility is set up in a great way to ensure every dog is safe and enjoys their time there. There would be no risk with me taking your pup every day, and they would probably love it! I have lots of experience and different skill sets to deal with difficult/energetic dogs on walks and would know how to help them. I also know how to handle aggressive or reactive dogs and could provide a safe environment and schedule for them.

A typical day
I love going on walks to parks, and if your dog is active and outgoing enough I really enjoy hikes! I would teach them tons of new things every day by doing lots of different and fun activities. My favorite thing of all is cuddling!

Availability
I work full time at positive Pets Dog Training and if I am housesitting, I would most likely take your dog with me to hang out while I work! They will get exposed to a new place and be socialized for that time I’m there. They get lots of potty breaks and play time, with some time in a kennel to take a rest/nap while I train other dogs. If you choose me to take care of your pups, I would have to bring my puppy, Koby, along! He is potty trained and is very friendly with other other dogs. he is over a year old and loves to visit new places! If I am just stopping by or walking your pups, I would spend most of our walks with treats and positive training to help them improve their skills with staying by my side, so when you get back they’ll listen to you a little better!
