I have two dogs and a cat of my own. I have also owned birds, hampsters, mice, salamanders, lizards, fish, and newts. There has never been an animal I haven't fallen in love with. I have done quite a bit of dog, cat, and bird sitting during my last 7 years in Chattanooga. I have dog sat King Charles Spaniels, to Pit mixes, to Great Danes. Breed is not an issue for me. I do have a senior Golden who likes to "mother" the dogs I have sat before. My 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback is my full of energy boy. He loves to play with every dog he meets! We have the best of both worlds, calm/ motherly and fun/energetic. I do have a air-conditioned, carpeted, fully finished basement that is separated from the rest of the house by a door. I can easily separate dogs in my house as well as outside. I have two separate fenced in areas. One is used for smaller dogs and the other is used for larger dogs. I allow all dogs to meet and socialize unless specified. Due to the fact that I do have 3 animals in my home I do ask that your pets are friendly with other animals. 'Y cat thinks he is a dog, so he is extremely friendly with dogs and likes to play with the dogs in the front yard. I live within walking distance from White Oak Dog Park and often walk to the park to play. I also live very close to Greenway Farms where we walk during the weekends. I also often go on hikes on Lookout Mountain (where I work). Lastly, I have a large fenced in field across from my house where I often take my dogs to run and play fetch.
