Hey there! I am Karlee, a Clemson University alumna. Growing up, I was never without a pet! From dogs and cats to chinchillas and turtles--I had them all. My older sister is a veterinarian practicing in York, SC. I have been volunteering/working for her ever since she graduated from UGA's Veterinary program! I have the same passion she has for animals and tons of experience under my belt. Working at the vet clinic, I have experience in many different areas like taking care of the boarding pets by feeding, walking, playing with, and cleaning up after the pets. I also am a veterinary assistant, taught how to approach, handle, and care for all pets with vaccinations, medications, and fluids. I have experience with elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, and more. I have experience with house sitting my neighbors' pets, walking my neighbors' pets and feeding them as well. While at school for nursing now, I miss my dogs tremendously!! I would love to get some dog or cat lovin' to make up for it! While working in the ER part time this summer, I have lots of flexibility. When fall semester rolls around I will have class in the morning, but will be free afterwards! I will work with you to make sure everything can be taken care of when you need it to be! I love pet sitting pets in their own environment much better. They feel safer, they are comfortable, and all around happier in their own space! Along with feeding and walking, I love to give pets snuggles and play. Whatever routine your pet is used to I will be sure to follow--with an extra treat maybe! :)
