I miss having a fur baby around!
Pet care experience
I grew up with a golden retriever, cats, chickens, fish, all types of farm animals, you name it! This is the first time I haven’t had an animal around and I miss it! I work full time from home and it’s lonely and boring. I’d love to have a fur baby around to keep me company during the day or night! I have a 1000 sqft apartment with a patio and comfy furniture that I don’t care if an animal jumps on. Across from me is Auditorium Shores and the off leash dog park! I also have a fenced in area for dogs to potty at my building if that would make you more comfortable but I normally run morning and night and would take them along.
Reviews
Flaked both times when I booked her.
Karlee was very communicative, sent me pics of my fur babies, and was very accommodating with all my last minute requests. One of my babies was anxious and very nervous, however Karlee was able to win her over in no time… She did not hesitate to call me with any questions or concerns and I will definitely utilize her services again in the future…
Karlee was great with my 6 month old golden. She went above and beyond to take him to a park where he was able to enjoy the water. Karlee was very communicative during the time she had ranger. Would definitely let her watch Ranger whenever
If your pup gets scared/anxious I would definitely not book w/ Karlee. My pup had his first stay with a stranger and was showing signs of separation anxiety, something I have never seen symptoms of, because I’ve never left my dog behind. I told her before hand that he would probably be scared and that even my dog’s vet described him as a “scaredy-cat”, she still took one the job. One of the signs of separation anxiety is having accidents which Karlee is evidently not aware of and accused me of lying about my dog not being house trained, which he is and has been. We made arrangements to have our pup picked up early, because she can’t be trusted. She made our first experience w/ Rover an awful one. Never again.

There is a fenced area for the dogs to potty outside, along with the off lease dog park across the street, or the fenced off leash dog park down the road. I normally take them for a run/walk morning and night and during my lunch take them to the off leash dog park to run around!
Information Karlee D. would like to know about your pet
I don’t necessarily have a preference for the type of dog I’m watching, but I need to know if they’re potty trained. If a dog has multiple accidents in my home, I’ll most likely be asking for additional compensation or potentially for the dog to be picked up. I love having dogs around but I can’t have my home be ruined from the smell of urine.
A typical day
Typically I would just mirror the energy of the dog I'm watching. If they have a ton of energy, I’ll take them for a run or walk. But if they’re older and just want to rest, cuddling on the couch it is! I typically run 2 miles in the morning and 2-4 more in the evening. So your dog has plenty of opportunity to get outside and play/potty.
Services
Karlee can watch in your home
Availability
I’m a very active person, work from home and can easily take care of your pet. I wake up typically around 7-8 AM and almost immediately head out for a run.
