Pet care experience
I’ve cared for a variety of dog breeds everything from Teacup Pomeranians to Mastiffs. I’ve adopted a dog through the advanced dog owner program through the Winnipeg humane society. I have a lot of experience with dogs of all kinds. I’m currently off work for the summer looking for a way to pass the time and make some extra cash, what better way than by spending time with pets! I’ve been with Rover for a couple month now so I have a good handle on the process!

Karlee walked our dog while on vacation. She is trustworthy and reliable, sent lots of photos and provided updates. She was very responsive and comfortable with our dogs reactivity issues towards other dogs which was comforting. Very happy with Karlee would love to book her again! :)
Karlee was awesome to arrange walks for Gus with. Her summaries of walks were entertaining to read. Will definitely check with her next time we need dog(s) walked.

I have a fenced yard which my two dogs like to spend lots of time running around and playing with each other. We enjoy spending time outside and going for many walks. I am not accepting any dog boarding at this time.

Let me know how your dog behaves on walks, do they tend to pull, or jump/bark when they see other animals, should other dogs be avoided? Etc. Let me know if you do not have any required items for the walk i.e. collar, leash, poo bags.
A typical day
During our walk we will practice walking with a leash, as well as other tricks along the way. I am very good with large breed dogs and dogs that tend to pull. I have my own training leash which I will bring with if your dog is having trouble walking nicely on leash and it’s something we will work on throughout the walk. I typically see improvement after only a couple of walks.

I am a student through the university of Manitoba. I am studying to become a teacher. I am currently off of school for the summer so I have plenty of free time.
