I am an experienced animal caretaker. I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, and even a pet deer. I’ve volunteered extensively with horse therapy programs, animal rescue groups, and shelters. Previously, I rescued and fostered dogs of every size, age, and condition. It was especially rewarding to rehabilitate them, helping them become physically and emotionally healthy. I am semi-retired and available most weekends and weekdays. I can walk your pets or provide care visits several times a day while you travel, or just once in a while if they need a little exercise or companionship. While I'm caring for your pet, I will customize their care to fit their personality, age, health, and energy level. Shy animals will be treated with kindness and patience, and playful pets will receive the energetic engagement they crave. Some pets just want to be petted and soothed when their people are away - that's another specialty.
