Dogs have a soul. I love their enthusiasm and how uplifting they make me feel in their presence. I also like to stay active and have always enjoyed a leisure walk or a run with them by my side. Dogs and puppies are great companions on nights when I don't have my kids with me so I feel less lonely. I am very nurturing so I love to take care people and animals. My family will call on me to watch their 2 corgis or their small dog during vacations and work related conferences. Recently we had someone that needed a family to take in their dog who was terminal. We took the dog in and took care of him during his last days of life. It was a life changing experience.
