Pet care experience
I grew up with and around dogs of all sizes and breeds. I'm very good at calming dogs and making them feel safe. I'm not intimidated by big dogs, and I'm strong enough to manage the biggest of dogs. I used to watch and walk dogs in Boston and New York, and your dog will get to go to Lake Eola, Baldwin Park, etc. on their visits with me. I also have experience running with dogs if you want them to have good exercise during their stay. I live in a house with a backyard. I'm very good at trimming a dog's nails, brushing their teeth, and giving them baths. For the most part, I don't mind having the dog sleep on the couch or with me, but I have a crate if you prefer that the crate training be maintained. I'll make sure they feel like a part of my family when they are with me - lots of snuggles!

Karla was great with Coby, she welcomed him in and loved him like he was her own! It made me so happy to see all of the updates of Coby and her doggy Charley playing together. They had a great time, and I'll definitely be taking Coby back the next time we need a sitter!
New to Rover, thankfully we found Karla at the last minute! Unfortunately, after needing to change plans several times, even attempts with other Rovers, or trip plans were able to resume - with Karla more than generously meeting and greeting only a few hours before we were to depart. Thankfully Karla left us at ease, kept us thoroughly updated through Bruno's stay, and was accommodating with early pickup (unfortunately trip ended early for same reasons it was almost cancelled!). We would definitely recommend her and board Bruno with her (and Charlie!) in the future when needed.
We have found our favorite orlando sitter. Karla was amazing, responsive and responsible. Her dog Charlie was playful and well mannered. My pup came home tired. We really loved all the pics and video she sent to document his stay. Highly recommend.
Karla was great and took great care of Frank while we were gone for a week. Gave great updates throughout the week and was very accommodating. Would definitely rebook when we need it.

I'd want to know that they are up-to-date on their shots, friendly, and good with other dogs. I'd want to know about any medications, training, or special needs they might have. Breed, size, and age aren't an issue for me as long as I'm prepped around how to meet their needs.
A typical day
We will be outside a lot (weather permitting), but we can also play around the house or in the back yard. I have a lot of doggie toys!
