Pet care experience
Quality pet care is my top priority! While you're away I want you to feel secure and confident that your pet is in good hands. I am well versed in dog and cat behavior, as well as basic small animal care! My favorite thing about Rover is meeting fellow animal lovers and getting to know their pets. I especially love working with rescues and shyer dogs. Chihuhuas are my personal favorite, but I am comfortable handling any size and temperament!

This was our first time being away from our cats for more than just a weekend, so I initially had a lot of anxiety being so far away from them for so long. But my stress evaporated after Karissa checked in and gave us updates on them. She does a wonderful job of describing their behaviors which made us chuckle a couple times "Yep that does sound like our cat!" And also takes wonderful pictures as well! She made it feel like they weren't quite so far away! We will definitely book Karissa again in the future!
Karissa has walked our dog many times. Caleb our pup is comfortable with her and we are too. Karissa has a lot of experience and we highly recommend her.

I’m not very trusting when it comes to handing care of my my loved ones & my home over to someone else, even for a brief time. However …. Karissa!!!!! You are my heroine!!! I can’t thank you enough and am elated that I have found you to save the day when needed! Words can’t express how grateful I am that you took the time for a meet & greet with my pet family & I before our 1st scheduled booking! It truly eased my worries and got everyone acquainted. Even though I was still a bit nervous for the 1st drop-in while I was away for work, you empathized with my situation and kept me updated during it letting me know everything was going great. It’s like you could read my mind from miles away! Thank you so much for being so calm and professional with my boys (I know they can be a handful). I love how you took them potty separately and the way you eased Rajah into settling down, after he was showing signs of unease. I think you may be a dog whisperer! You did perfectly! I can’t wait to schedule our next drop-in! I’ve already recommended you to all my friends! P.S. It was extremely refreshing to come home to locked doors, closed gates and everything still tidy and in its place (especially the boys - they looked so happy). Compared to when I’ve had my kids drop in to help …. let’s just say it’s night and day! Thank you with all my heart! We have found our forever friend and sitter! P.S.S. A typical day
During every visit I like to get your dogs up and moving! We'll play with toys, practice a few commands, or just relax and snuggle if that's all they prefer. My fellow cat owners will understand that our cats aren't always as social, but I'll do my best to get them out and playing as well! I usually refill their water and cleanup any messes before leaving. One of my favorite parts of every visit is taking adorable and goofy pictures of your pets!
