Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong animal lover and an elementary teacher who is enjoying a full summer off at home. I've had dogs, cats and horses all my life and am skilled in caring for them since I was a young child. I have a chocolate lab named Coco, a pomeranian named Ava, a rat terrier Chloe and a Yorkie named Ellie. They are the sweetest, most well-behaved, loving girls and I couldn't imagine life without them. I have been pet sitting/house sitting dogs and cats for about 8 years now but am new to Rover. For now, I am available any day of the week to petsit at your residence, do drop-by visits or walk your dog(s). I will send regular pictures and updates via text/FaceTime or through the app as well as provide potty breaks/outside play time as often as you would like. I have owned/had experience with all sizes and personalities of dogs, from toy breeds to large breeds. I am also comfortable with providing bathing services for dogs of all sizes for an additional fee. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Karina is one of the most trustworthy and dependable people I know. She loves and understands animals so well. She has 4 dogs and 1 cat herself and I would trade places with them if I could because of how well she takes care of them! Not only does she excel at caring for her own pets, she extends the same care for others'. I wouldn't trust anyone to watch my "babies" as much as I trust Karina.
Karina has been pet-sitting my dogs since 2012. I know that when I leave my pets with her, they will be well cared for and slightly spoiled! She is an amazing caretaker with many great qualities that makes her the ideal steward. She is a pleasant, friendly person who goes above and beyond for the pets she cares for. She is extremely responsible and will make sure that your dog is well fed, watered, exercised, pampered, and most importantly, happy!
Karina has been pet sitting and house sitting for my family for years. She is extremely friendly, trustworthy and amazing with animals. She has extensive experience with caring for animals and treats my dogs as her own. I know I don't have to worry about a thing when I leave my dogs and house in her care. They love it when she comes to stay with them and are sad when she leaves. It's like they have their own vacation when we leave home! There are a few things that I would like to know about your dog(s) before our meet and greet so that I can be better prepared to meet their needs. Describe your dog's personality/behavior. What is your dog's daily schedule? Is your dog strictly an "inside" dog, "outside" dog or a combination? Is your dog potty trained? Crate trained? Pee pad trained? Does your dog have any history of aggression/biting with strangers? What is your dog afraid of? What will they react to? Does your dog have any quirks I need to be aware of? What relaxes your dog/makes them happy? Are toys left out 24/7 or put away after play time? Are there any special instructions for meal time? Are there any special commands or words I should use with your pet? How do you reward good behavior? How do you deal with bad behavior? Is your pet allergic to anything? What period of time, if any, is your dog normally left alone for? Any areas of the home your dog is not allowed in?
