I've cared for my dogs and pets for the majority of my life, and my experience is with all types of personalities and dispositions. I appreciate and respect the needs of our canine family members, and will care for them as my own when there are with me. I put the needs of my dogs first. I am observant and diligent in my efforts to provide a loving and positive environment for all of them. I strive to make all my furry guests comfortable, relaxed, and free from stress, which is in great contrast to what they would experience in a kennel or high volume daycare. I love what I do and my dogs are part of my family while they're with me. Our home is designed with our dogs needs' in mind. The yard is dog friendly and so is our home.

Karina was great! She watched Rusty while we went to a wedding in town, she was quick to respond to messages, and accommodating to the schedule and late pick up at night. Rusty seemed to have a great time with her and her pup!
This was our first experience with Alexis and Michael and we could not have been more pleased! We have a 4 lb., 13 yr. old chihuahua. Although she is mellow and sweet, it's always pretty stressful to leave her. They were both so thoughtful and caring. Any worries were alleviated with their regular photos and communication. She was immediately treated like one of their own and received so much love and attention. We are very grateful to have found them! Thank you!
Bolton had a great time at Karina's and I felt extremely comfortable with his care while we were on Spring Break..
I cannot sing praise high enough for the love that Karina and her husband showed my little puppy. I have a 4 ½ month old mini goldendoodle. Before coming to Karina I visited 5 kennels and thought I might never go on vacation again. After leaving the last one almost in tears I spoke with my trainer who recommended looking at dogvaccy and rover.com. I found several individuals on the rover site but only one I thought would be good enough for me. She was unavailable which was perfect because I then looked at dogvaccy. And yes God lead me to Karina. I contacted her and went to meet her and her family, what a delight. I thought they were warm people, loving of pets and I could tell right away their home was filled with love. We took our puppy over to spend some time and make sure he would be confortable. He was curious and walked around as if he was home. Karina kept him for 4 nights and 5 days. She sent pics and videos of him having a good time. OMG he was having a blast. He made great friends. I felt like he had found a new loving family when his real mommy couldn’t be there. I am not a person who likes to write reviews but she is the best, I could not have asked for more for my little “Fury”. Don’t look any further she is the answer to your peace of mind!

I'd like to know about any medical conditions and food allergies. I respect owner's wishes and needs for consistency. Secondly, I'd like to know if your dog has any triggers or aggressive behaviors with other animals/dogs. For example, does your dog flip out for rabbits or squirrels? Do they feel insecure around large dogs? This is really important for me so that I can keep your pet family member safe and feeling good. Finally, is your dog accident prone in certain situations? I know all dogs feel embarrassed when this happens, so I'd like to do all I can to prevent this from occurring.
A typical day
I've cared for my dogs and pets for the majority of my life, and my experience is with all types of personalities and dispositions. I appreciate and respect the needs of our canine family members, and will care for them as my own when there are with me. I put the needs of my dogs first. I am observant and diligent in my efforts to provide a loving and positive environment for all of them. One thing that may be unique about me is that I am a conscientious canine leader and strive to keep a calm balance on walks and all interactions (human and otherwise). I don't ask my canines to lead me around the block; rather, I take that stress and burden from them and allow them to just enjoy the view by my side. This not only provides positive discipline and a bonding experience, but also lets them know they can trust me to take care of them. Your dog will enjoy a 10-15 minute morning and afternoon walk and and 2 additional potty breaks. If your dog has additional needs, just let me know. Weather is a factor, so if it's extremely hot or wet, times may vary for that sake of your dog's comfort and well-being. We are a dog-loving family, and we each take pride in making sure your dog is content and loved from drop-off to pick-up.
