Pet care experience
I worked at a Veterinarian hospital for 3 years and found a true love for dogs. I don’t currently have any of my own as we travel often, so I use this platform to love all of the pups who come over! If you have a set schedule at your house please let me know so I can follow it for the comfort of your pup. Being I was a vet assistant, If your pup has any medication I am able to administer. I am very active and for the pups who need extra TLC I can take them for hikes, walks, swims, etc. I have open availability 7 days a week (including holidays) and have a special seatbelts that clips on to your pups collar for safety. I never leave pups in a kennel (unless asked to do so), we have a fully fenced yard with locks, we use natural chemicals around our backyard and we never go on off leash walks.

I am rating this dog sitter a 2 because we had. Discussed the tendency for Rover sitters to have too many dogs at once. She had reassured me that she would not watch any other dogs when she had our 2 large dogs. A few days before we were to bring them over she texted me that she wanted to watch another large dog too. Since it was so late there was not another option for me so I asked that it be a friendly dog that would get along w my dogs. Upon dropping off our dogs, there was a small dog barking in another room. She dismissed this saying it was her sisters and was leaving. The Bernise Mt. Dog that she also had there greeted my dogs by growling and bArking. She dismissed this saying he was just vocal. I was anxious about leaving our dogs with her as she was so dishonest that I did not know what to believe. I do not know how things really went but our dogs had no obvious signs of problems when we picked them up. I just need to feel people are being truthful with me and this person did not seem to be. I will not use her again and would not recommend her.
This was my first experience with a pet sitter and I was so apprehensive about leaving my boys. The moment I met Karina and her family I was immediately put at ease. The dogs were so well cared for, loved and attended to. She took them on walks and made them part of her family. I got pictures, videos and updates every day of the trip and could see they were having the best time. Would not hesitate to recommend her and hope she will take the boys when we have another out of town trip.

Aside from every morning/evening walks, I enjoy taking pups to Balboa park, mission trails, seaport village, and fenced in baseball parks for fetch. If your dog has great recall skills and is used to it, I’m able to take them to the beach.
