Pet care experience
I will care for your pet as if he/she is my own! I cared for a dog of my own for over 4 years until he passed away due to a heart condition. I got him when he was about 4 months old, so I have experience training and handling puppies. For the last year of his life, my dog was on a very regimented medication schedule 4x per day. Because of this, I know how to administer medication of different varieties. Whether it's a pill your dog loves to take or hates to take or a liquid medication, I am confident in my abilities to ensure your pet gets what they need. I also understand that if you have specific requirements, it is for a reason, and I will adhere strictly to those requests (e.g. medication time, potty time, etc.). I hope you choose me to care for your beloved family member(s)! I'm excited to meet you and your furry friend.

All I need to know is if they are friendly with dogs and/or cats, how they are with walks, and if there are certain types of situations/activities that they are uncomfortable with.
A typical day
If a dog is staying with me, I will play with him/her in my fenced yard, take him on walks around the neighborhood/on the nature trail, take him to a nearby dog park, and give him all the cuddles his heart desires! If they are good in public, I may also bring them on a trip downtown for some people watching. Of course, if your pet isn't comfortable in certain situations, I will avoid that activity.

Availability
I work full time Monday through Thursday, so I'd recommend only booking those days of the week if you're comfortable with them being alone during a workday. I work occasional Fridays, and I am generally home most of the days I am not working when I have a pet to watch over.
