Pet care experience
I’ve have taken care of pets for my whole life. I fostered a cat for a long time and fostered my friends husky for over a year as well. I can work with difficult pets and am understanding and flexible to any and all needs. The husky I fostered was not great with other dogs or off leash and I trained her to be better at ignoring other dogs, so I understand the difficulties that this may cause on walks. I love being around dogs and cats and miss the pets that were in my life now that their humans have moved.

Karina provided great support taking care of my cat whilst I was away for about 10 days. Her visits were timely and she was very communicative, and she ensured my buddy was well looked after. I look forward to my next trip :)

I am unable to board pets, but am willing to pop in however much is needed, go on long walks, feed, or stay over if desired. I understand the high maintenance sometimes required for pets and will happily give all the energy, time, and love your pet needs.

I am willing to work with any energy level and temperament of dog. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs and can provide the attention needed for this. I would love to know any quirks about the dog such as triggers, on leash behavior, energy level, etc.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks especially near water, and would also be happy to go on hikes with more terrain. I enjoy playing with dogs in a backyard as well and just being outside!

I am currently waiting to start a job in June so I have a very free and flexible schedule and would love to pick up some work anytime! I will be in and out of town through the summer and will have sporadic availability then that is reflected in my calendar
