Pet care experience
I know training, exercise and play time are all essential to keeping our pets engaged and happy! My skills in training my own dogs, as well as keeping them engaged with play time and daily walking is essential to keeping them healthy! I have a love for animals. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and bunnies! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets, including puppies, dogs and cats. I currently have a 14 year old chihuahua, named Lincoln, a 10 year old goldendoodle, named Luna, a 4 year old cat, named Mia and a 6 year old bunny, named Buddy. I also am gaining experience with a friend's horses! I have experience in senior pet care. Our chihuahua has heart disease and is on several medications - I have experience administering medication to challenging pets, as well as eye drops. I also am happy to brush out pets, and bathe them. I groom my goldendoodle (she gives me a challenge but I get the job done)!

I am a trustworthy person and can provide excellent in-home care for your pets. I am available to stay at your home or check in on pets throughout the day, making sure food/water and any medication is handled as well as play, give belly rubs, brush, and go for walks. I can also help with tidying up and cleaning up any accidents.

I would like to know how your dog behaves around other dogs - I will alway keep my distance from unknown dogs, but if they are going to react in a negative way from afar, I would like to know so I can redirect their attention.
A typical day
I am great at following directions and will walk your dog wherever you prefer! I can also play ball in your yard, play indoors to keep them stimulated, by working with them and their tricks, or even work to teach them new tricks! I also live near Saltwater State Park and the Des Moines Marina. Walking in these locations is a ton of fun for dogs. Lots of smells, trails and fresh air. I also enjoy walking in my neighborhood.

I have a flexible schedule. I am available for walks from 8:30am to 2:30pm and most evenings. I also can be available for weekends, as well as last minute, if you're in a pinch.
