Hi there! My name is Karin and I’m a passionate animal lover of all kinds and have 2 amazing fur babies: Ziggy, a blue heeler/chihuahua mix and Farrah, a bichon frisé. They are 100% part of the family and are extremely spoiled by my partner and I. I have experience with fostering cats and dogs, and working with reptiles and fish (with a strong love for snakes). I have been looking after friends’ and family members’ fur/non-fur babies for years and have grown up with many pets including dogs, cats, fish, hermit crabs, turtles, geckos, & snakes. Karin took great care of my ~2 y/o Goldendoodle! He can be a little nervous meeting new people and I was so happy to find someone he quickly felt comfortable with. I would not hesitate to ask Karin to watch my pup again :)
Karin is truly amazing! She stayed in my home and took care of my precious puppy. Her kindness, attention to detail and overall care was remarkable. She was clean, sent pictures and provided constant updates. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to my pets, and Karin single-handedly reduced that with my last experience. Karin was awesome! My pup is a bit anxious, especially with new people, so It’s always been challenging for me to find someone I trust, but I was able to fully relax on vacation knowing my girl was in great hands. I would 100% recommend Karin for any of your dog needs!

I live in a second story unit, so I do not have a yard but have plenty of nice areas to walk the pups around the neighborhood and a nice dog park nearby.

I am open to ALL breeds. I would like to know their temperament and how well they get along with other dogs if you are looking for boarding services— I have two small dogs (who are super friendly!!) who will be present. I want to know how much exercise they need and anything else you think I should know so that your pup feels comfortable and happy with me.
A typical day
I love staying active and will gladly take your dogs on runs or hikes if they have extra energy that you’d like them to burn. I also am happy to go on a long walk or just relax and keep your pup company. The dogs will get all the cuddles and love from me. I also live right next to many parks and LOVE taking the dogs exploring.

Availability
I currently work from home full time during the week, so I have plenty of time to give your babies attention and care that they require. I walk my dogs for about an hour midday at our local park and love taking them out for adventures any chance I get to socialize them more.
