Walking and playing is my MO!
Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs for the majority part of my life and would treat your dog as if it were my own. I am a Native New Yorker, so I am an expert walker and always out and about. I love walking around the city and heading to the dog park where I can play fetch with your pup! I am extremely empathetic to your dog's needs as I believe our furry friends have such an important place in this world. I currently am a design student so I have a lot of extra time to give your dog the attention he or she deserves. If you stay with me, your dog will receive the proper care, attention and love he or she needs.
Reviews
I’ve used Karin for walks, play, feeding. Her complete attention to our dog’s needs is both skilled and intuitive. She’s a timely communicator; and freely gives her ideas. So appreciate her generosity. Communication is as important as the services provided and dependability. Karin has it all!
Karin does much more than tasks for our dog. She jumped in with high skill, intuition, and enthusiasm. Her love for dogs is warm and true. Her respect, observations, and understanding of our pooch’s individualized needs are gifts.
Karin was great - prompt and knowledgable
Leaving Zadek with Karin gave us peace of mind, she is very accommodating and demonstrated to us her professionalism, she updated us every day regarding Zadek stay and was willing to go out of her way to make Zadek stay very comfortable taking in consideration his separation anxiety condition. Best, Jacqueline

Questions I like to ask all clients during a meet and greet: 1. Pick up and drop off times as I need to make sure that I am available and can deliver the best care and attention for your dog. ***For Doggy Day Care Requests - Generally up to 12 hours but if I'm available, I can look after for another 2-3 hours without extra charge as long as it's discussed ***For Dog Boarding Requests - Generally up to 24 hours but if I'm available, I can look after for another 2-3 hours without extra charge as long as it's discussed. For stays longer than 4 nights, it is preferred if we have had at least one doggy day care session or overnight to see if it's a good fit (which will be discounted from your overall stay). If not, we must have an extended meet and greet where you will bring everything your doggy needs e.g. crate, etc because we must see how your dog will behave in a stranger's home so we can make sure he/she will be comfortable. For both kind of requests with the exception of house sitting and check-in's, it is preferred that the meet and greet is in my home as it helps determine whether it would be a good fit for your dog or not 2. Behavior: Any habits I should know about such as chewing, excessive barking, escaping, biting, etc.? I just want to make sure your dog and others will be safe and happy. Also does your dog have any anxiety? If so, what are his or her usual behaviors of exhibiting this anxiety? ***Pet parents will be responsible and liable for any damage to my home (furniture, appliances, etc.), injury to my family from your dog's behaviors 3. Health/Diet: Does she/he have his/her shots and kennel cough vaccine up to date? Does he or she have flea prevention and/or take any other medication? Are there any special needs and/or special dietary concerns? I ask all clients to bring their pups food and any treats/chews they enjoy at home. Are they fixed or microchipped? 4. Socialization: Is your dog socialized with other dogs? Has she/he ever bitten, snapped or nipped at another dog or person? Is she or he generally aggressive (not in a playful way)? 5. Please let me know in advance if your dog is used to being crated or isn't housetrained. Thank you!
A typical day
Lots of walks around the neighborhood (East Village) and nearby. I will make sure your dog is exposed to the abundant amount of culture this wonderful city has to offer. ...and did I say dog parks???
