Hello pet parents! My name is Karigan, and I am a high school English teacher in New Orleans. I have 3 cats of my own, and I am passionate about helping busy families give their fur babies the love they need. Growing up, my family always had a houseful of animals and I genuinely miss the companionship. I enjoy walking, playing, and just spending time with pets. I am pretty relaxed when it comes with taking care of animals—couches, beds, and kitchen scraps are always available. I have over ten years of experience in taking care of animals. I will do everything in my power to give your pet the love and care it needs.

Karigan is fantastic! I have three dachshunds, one of whom has several chronic health conditions and requires special injections/pills/care. Karigan not only took great care of each of them, but sent me regular updates and photos. I am so relieved and grateful to have found an excellent petsitter, one I can trust to be kind to my dogs when I travel. I intend to book Karigan any time I leave town.
Karigan made my pups feel right at home while we were away for the week! She sent plenty of updates including pictures. She was great with my dog who had to take medication while he was there. She also bonded with my sassy dog who isn’t very friendly. I will definitely use Karigan again!
Karigan was very thorough and always kept me updated with texts and photos. It's obvious Lucy was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend her.

While I no longer offer boarding in my own home, I thoroughly enjoy taking care of pets in my clients’ homes. After the initial meeting with clients, I am sure to take notes on specific care requirements for each individual pet. I maintain a clean home for my clients to return to.
Information Karigan T. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if there are any medications that the pet needs in advance. I’m experienced with giving animals medications, so this is not an issue. Although I do not have any breed preferences, I love boxers and pit bulls because I always had those breeds growing up.
A typical day
I live within walking distance of City Park, and I am always up for a nice walk through the park or by the bayou with your fur babies.

Availability
As a teacher, I am at work 8-3:30 Monday through Friday. Outside of those hours, I am almost always available to help with pet care.
