Q. Why did the dog cross the road?

Pet care experience

A. To get to the barking lot. Now that I've got your attention... I own a 90lb male 10 year old dog named Romeo. He's allowed on my bed and I consider him my fur-baby. He gets walked three times a day and always has food and water available. He is taken to the vet as needed and I even have Trupanion insurance for him. Some would say he's spoiled but I disagree. Dogs need attention, affection and to be kept busy in order to be happy and stay out of trouble. I would treat your dog like my own (to your specifications). My fees are negotiable and can be tweaked on a case by case basis. If your fur-baby is not potty trained he/she may be crated (if okay with owner) or relegated to the kitchen or bathroom areas. (There is a $5 an hour late fee). I hope you consider me to watch your fur-baby. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs since I was 18, which was as soon as I could get one, when I got my own apartment. I have had multiple dogs at one time, several different breeds as well as male and female. I have mostly owned 'mutts' but did own a deaf full bred Dalmatian at one time. Meet my pets I own a 10 year old mixed breed male dog who weighs approximately 90lbs named Romeo. About my yard I have a fenced in yard at my apartment. It is a pretty good size for my 90lb dog to run around. I have pine trees overhead so there are a lot of pine needles. The yard is honestly mildly unkempt, it's nearly impossible to keep up with the falling pine needles! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medications per the owners instructions, example and recommendations that works best for them.

Kari is so great with our old dog. We love the pictures she sent of him. I know he is well taken care of when he is with her!

Information Kari K. would like to know about your pet

What I'd like communicated to me by the owner when determining if we'd be a good fit is the owners impression of how the dog will react to a new person and/or environment as well any pertinent information, i.e. potty trained, demeanor, social skills, etc.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I normally, during the week, walk my dog around my neighborhood. On the weekends, if the weather is nice, I take my dog to a park to walk. We don't normally go to a dog park to play with other dogs per say though. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Guest dogs will sleep where the owner has told me he/she normally sleeps. Time I'll spend with your dog I normally spend the majority of my time with my dog, and partake in activities that revolve around his ability to accompany me, so I would anticipate a guest dog to join us! The care I provide your fur-baby, unless otherwise discouraged by the owner, will be as if the dog is mine, so well cared for and loved. We'll walk in/around your neighborhood unless otherwise instructed. Your fur-baby will sleep wherever you, the owner, feel is appropriate and most comfortable. I will only leave your dog unattended to go to run errands or tend to my dog if he stays home, which we will have discussed prior to booking a stay, otherwise your dog will be in my care the whole time spending quality time together each day/night.
