Hi, I’m Kari and I'm 25 years old. Currently, I am in nursing school. I previously studied pre-veterinary medicine while working as a vet tech in a dog/cat/bird clinic as well as an emergency clinic for a few years. I was also an animal control officer in North SD. What I loved most about that job was that allowed me to reunite lost pets with their owners and rescue/rehabilitate sick/injured wildlife. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, birds/exotics, wildlife, reptiles, rodents, etc. and may be able to help care for your other pets as well! My family has owned aggressive Belgian Shepherds my whole life. I've always wanted a "normal" dog I could take out on adventures or to hang out with friends, and I can’t own dogs where I currently live, so I live vicariously through owners on Rover haha. I'm very active and love the outdoors! I especially love working with medium to large sporting or herding breeds! Regarding house sitting, I am very clean, considerate, and responsible. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions! Also, there is an error with Rover’s house-sitting rates. It assumes the owner will return in the morning of the final day, so sitters do not get paid if you are returning in the evening (most owners do). If you need me to stay throughout the final day, it’s best to to include an extra day to compensate for the error. Thanks!
