Experience as a pet owner, volunteered in pet shelters. Experience with dog sitting, walking, and play time. Making a pet feel safe and loved is key, especially when his or her "parents" are away. Pets can cuddle up or stay to themselves if they feel safer and I have plenty of patience and understand. I believe in positive reinforcement and not punishment for negative behavior and understand not all pets are created equal and all are unique and special in their own little way.
