Pet care experience
My clients feel comfortable knowing I love dogs..my guests are treated as if they were my own. Plenty of attention, love, and comfort. We are on a beautiful acre, which is fenced and secure for your pet to run and play. Daily walks are a bonus. We are a retired couple, so it's quiet and peaceful around here. Hubby had a bad experience with pitties...so unfortunately, if you have a pittie, I can not accept the stay. So sorry. I charge a little more than others, but your dog is getting one on one treatment. I don't sit more than one dog at a time,( unless related :-) That way, your dog feels at home with no distractions. Our house is very large, and clean. Your fur baby will have free range. We have been dog owners for 30 years. After we lost our Yellow Lab a few years ago, we decided to adopt temporarily so you can visit, or vacation with peace of mind. As long as your fur baby is clean, tick and flea free, well behaved, and house broken, we would welcome his or her stay with us. We will enjoy sitting for your dog as much as he will enjoy staying with us. Thank you for considering us as your pet sitter in the future.

Karen and her husband were absolutely wonderful! It was clear they truly loved our dog and really enjoyed her. They didn't just give her a safe place to stay, but the love we hoped our dog would have while we were away. Going to Karen's house was just as much a vacation for our dog as going out of town was for us. But what really made Karen so wonderful was when things went wrong. Our travel plans got thrown in complete disarray and we ended up being stuck out of the country for almost twice as long as we had intended to be gone for. Karen was incredibly responsive and helpful in making sure Millie was well cared for during our delay. I can't thank her and her husband enough for taking part of the load off or minds while we worked on getting home.
I was so anxious about leaving David with someone for the first time that wasn’t family. He had an amazing time!! Would leave him with Karen again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I are retired, and home all the time...My rates are for a 24 hour period..If you have an early morning drop off, and late pick up, I will charge for 1/2 day.
