HI...we are a family with a 12 yr old playful and good natured Wheaten Terrier. We got our dog as a puppy, so understand what it's like to have both a puppy and a dog. We love dogs, and would like to give our dog a playmate from time to time. We have a fenced in back yard, as well as a dog door. We live near Lafayette School/Park which is a great place to walk dogs. We have a dog door so they can go in and out into the fence back yard as desired...to play or for potty breaks. We'd be happy to host small to medium size dogs on our home. We are committed to getting the dogs outside for walks, and playing with them indoors. It would be a safe and loving place to leave your dog.

Thanks Karen for a happy stay for our dog Pepe! It was great to see him taken in as part of the family, plus he enjoyed a week of play date with Truman - a huge treat. We will certainly come back. Highly recommended!
My 10 month old corgi had an amazing time with Karen, Truman, and her boys. Karen sent us daily photos and videos of Petra playing, bouncing on the couches, and sleeping in bed. I'm sure Petra also enjoyed access to a big, fenced-in backyard. She was ready to go back to Karen's house the next day! We will definitely call on Karen again the next time we're out of town.

The most important aspect for me is that my dog, and the dog we are sitting get along. So I definitely want to have a meet and greet before we book the setting. That just seems to work best for everybody.
A typical day
Take dogs on daily walks and have a fenced in yard where they can play as well. Rover is saying I need to write 25 words so I'm just talking so it'll let me move on.

I have a hybrid work schedule, so I am home part of the time, and in the office part of the time. Two days a week I work exclusively from home.
