Pet care experience
I have owned dogs for nearly 30 years along with fostering/volunteering for three local rescues. My household currently consists of five dogs--my golden retriever Rhyme and 4 littles: Archie! Dragon, Rika and Seuss! 5 very dog-friendly cats are also here. I work from home so I am available for lots of play time and cuddling! All my dogs love having furry friends over to visit as well as any foster pups that are here. I have experience with special needs including spina bifida dogs and blind/deaf dogs. Dog-friendly cats are also welcome!!! I look forward to caring for your pet who will be treated as part of the family during their stay! Karen is simply the best, there's no-one I trust more to care for my seeing/hearing impaired doggy. We recently had our pup stay with Karen for a week while we were out of town, it was a relief to see the silly photos that confirmed our pup was having a vacation of her own.
Karen is the best! She's the only one we feel comfortable leaving our dog with.
I always feel great knowing my cats are safe and sound with Karen! She is so understanding and accommodating. Our flights were cancelled and she took care of our cats for a few extra days until we got back. She is also very responsive to messages, so you can always check in on your pets. Definitely book with Karen!

A typical day
I have a large fully fenced backyard for running and playing fetch. In the summer there is a doggie wading pool available as well as an above ground swimming pool for the water loving dogs! Doggie pool floats are also available! I live in a low traffic neighborhood for daily walks and there is a nature trail nearby for longer walks/hikes.
