Adore cats, love dogs!

Pet care experience

I have a French Bulldog Pug Cross that I adore. From eight weeks-old my fur baby has been my constant companion. Since May 2021 I’ve learned so much about puppies and dogs. I can’t wait to meet yours.

Whenever Karen visits us in Poland she likes to take our dogs for walks to the forest nearby (2Km) as well through the village and across meadows nearby. We have had many homeless dogs and cats visit us and stay over because they like our home and big wild garden. Between 2006 and 2010 we had 2 German Shepherd Dogs then on Christmas Eve 2010 a dog was seen walking in the snow. I went to find her, by the Church and naturally I brought her home. Four weeks later she gave birth to 4 Puppies! Karen has walked all 6 dogs together through the village and across the nearby meadows as well as to the forest and back, of course! All on Harnesses and Leads. As you may know she has her own Canine Companion at home in Scotland whom she adores!

Hello, Karen has cared for my two cats on many occasions. She is a caring and thoughtful pet sitter. My cats were very happy with Karen. She fed and cared for them very well. There was never a problem with her care. My cats are a bit finicky but responded really well to Karen´s presence. I would highly recommend Karen as an excellent pet sitter.

My puppy is allowed on the furniture and my bed. I've trained him to wait for his food. While he eats his meal I hide a quarter of his kibble around the flat for him to track down when he's finished. After an hour's rest, to let his food settle, we go for a walk. After dinner, we play tug and or fetch. While out walking I am hyper-vigilant to ensure he doesn't eat anything from the pavement. My boy waits at lights and is learning to walk without pulling. My flat has plenty of space for pets to run around, play or relax.

What does your doggie like to do for entertainment? Does he or she have a special toy or game they like? Do they do tricks? Are they allowed treats? Do they like cuddles or not so much? Does your pooch play well with others? Tell me all about what your best friend likes the most.

In the flat we play tennis ball football, fetch, and tug of war. Outside we go to the communal garden for a quick toilet break or to the promenade and beach to Volunteer's Green to meet other doggies. On other days we'll go to Dysart Coastal Path or Beveridge Park. We also like Ravenscraig Park and the Old Kirk Cemetary.
