That's a terrible experience. Our dog only eats prescription can food when he has diarrhea. We clearly told the sitting this fact and leave her a paper note about how to feed the dog. However, she fed our dog four prescriptions can when our dog is not ill. And she told rover she bought extra food in order to feed our dog, which is impossible and ridiculous. We bring 8 days of food and our dog only stays in her home for 6.5 days. If she did feed our dog the food she bought, our dog will be diarrhea 100%. Because he only eats prescription dry food instead of normal food. She did that only to charge us an extra 100$ in the end. She didn’t reply to our message for a long time, though we tried to reach out to her via Facebook and email. We told her to keep the dog in the crate during the night, but obviously, she didn’t. He got used to it but now our dog’s sleeping behavior is ruined. He doesn’t want to stay in the crate at night. She also lost our dog’s Kong toy(15$) and broke a Flexi leash(30$) during this stay. I filed a formal complaint with Rover. It's not just about the money I spent, but about neglecting my dog, and hoping it doesn't happen to others in the future.
