I have owned a fish, two parakeets, and a rabbit. I would put my rabbit on a leash and walk him around our backyard. I regularly brushed him and trimmed his nails (with the help of my dad). Near the end of his life, I gave him oral medication by syringe and medication with a needle injection. I have had friends and relatives throughout my life that have owned dogs. In my early 20s, my sister watched a friend's dog at our house for about a week. My sister owns a small dog she bought through a rescue. Her dog loves going on walks, playing with other dogs, and occasionally getting into mischief. I am hoping to gain experience walking and sitting dogs and become a pet professional.
