Meow! The PURRRFECT sitter for you!
Pet care experience
Specializing in cats, small dogs, and other small animals, I am also available to care for large dogs if you have a backyard and don’t need walks. I am available to take care of your fur babies when you travel for work or pleasure. You need someone you can trust to take care of them for you. Let me be that someone! I can walk dogs up to 30 lbs but prefer the smaller ones and I love cats of all sizes. Let’s meet and see if we are a good fit!
Reviews
Karen was there each day on time and took good care of our cat and our plants!
Karen is an absolute treasure! She has taken such good care of my dog, Moose, and my parents’ dog, Covey Belle, on several occasions! She also made sure that our bunny got lots of cuddles and love! Karen was attentive and responsive. She sent many pictures updating me as to how the fur-babies were doing (as I’m a neurotic dog mom, LOL). She treats your babies with all of the love, care, and concern that you do as a pet parent! I highly recommend Karen to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter! She is so kind and respectful!
Karen was great with our cat fiona for a week. She came consistently at the same time and gave us great reports. She also brought in our boxes and garbage can and was great about asking any questions she might have. Will definitely use her again!
Karen was wonderful with our very shy kitty and actually got our kitty to come down while she visited! I would absolutely trust Karen to watch our kitty again.

I have a senior tortoiseshell cat of my own - she’s the best! I have had many pets throughout my life - cats, dogs, fish, parrots, parakeets, turtles, hamsters, even antelopes & monkeys! (I lived in Africa for 10 years). I understand how important it is for pets to remain in familiar surroundings when their owners go out of town so I will come to them! Your pets will be well-cared for and receive plenty of attention while you are gone. I will administer any medications they may need and will feed them as instructed. There is a small medication fee, just $5/pet/night.

Please let me know if your fur baby has any special needs or quirks that I need to be aware of for proper care. (Example: Do they need lifting on and off furniture?)
A typical day
I will give your pets plenty of attention in their own homes. Each one of our fur babies has their own special qualities and need different amounts of attention. I will make sure that your pets are well-cared for and receive plenty of attention and exercise while you are gone. Potty breaks: I will let your dogs out for a potty break or take them on a walk every 5-6 hours through the day and unless instructed otherwise, I will let them out about 9 hours after their last evening walk. Housesits begin at dinner-time (no later than 7pm) and include 2 evening walks and a morning walk. The mid-day walk will be extra. Medications will be administered as ordered. Meals: I will feed your fur babies exactly as instructed. (I once took care of a friend's poodles...She gave them a variety of meals that a human would love! Real baked chicken & rice seasoned with cinnamon & other exotic spices. Lamb. All sorts of delicacies. She would spend the day before they left cooking the poodles' meals for the week, label them with the day they were to be served and freeze them. I would then take each packet out on the appropriate day, thaw it and serve as she instructed. Royalty. My sister’s dog gets frozen raw duck and veggies! I have had pets of one kind or another all my life - dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, birds, antelope & monkeys (yes, really! I lived in Ghana, West Africa for about 10 years). My feline fur babies that currently live with me are both rescues - a tortoise-shell cat and a black American short hair cat. We also have a 4-lb-chihuahua who is spoiled to pieces.
