House sitting overnights for cats priced the same house sitting as overnights for dogs. Typically, I cannot provide check-in services outside of a five mile radius, feel free to inquire. I worked part-time at a pet store as a teenager and worked as an assistant in a couple of veterinary clinics before I went to grad school. I am comfortable giving both dogs and cats medication and injections when necessary. I began pet sitting at a very young age for neighbors, and after my last dog passed away, I began pet sitting in my free time. I like having the companionship of dogs, any animals, who need me, especially while I currently have no room for a dog. Thus far, my experience includes: Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, fish, bees, chickens, other small farm animals. Growing up our house always had at least two cats and one dog. I had goldfish first, and then a gerbil, a couple of hamsters, a rabbit, and a crow. I would nurse wild birds that had fallen from their nests, but the crow was the only one to survive. I often got in trouble for feeding stray cats and dogs, too. My sister had a horse for a couple of years and I am familiar with grooming tasks. Also experienced in caring for indoor and outdoor plants and gardens, collecting mail, daily tasks, emergencies.
