Hi there! I am very passionate about animals, because they are an important part of our lives and of our world. They deserve to be treated with care, love and respect. We, as humans have the obligation to be their protectors and to give them a happy life. I am a veterinary assistant, and have had the experience to volunteer in some local shelters, which I find a very rewarding task, the happiness you can see in those homeless animals just by petting and hugging them, to me is priceless . I would describe myself as a very responsible, enthusiastic, sensitive and organized person. I am currently studying a Dog Training & Obedience program so, to me having the opportunity to work with pets will allow me to help them improve their behavior and to enhance pet-owner relationship by teaching them how to interact with each other, which is a very important aspect every pet owner should know. I am also an ASPCA member, and I'm definitely against any type of animal cruelty. Your pet is not just a pet, is your kid, is your baby.. That is why I totally understand the importance of having someone who would take care of them with the same love and affection you would, someone you can rely on, and someone who is capable to watch your house when you are away, so you can enjoy vacation trips or working without being worry about your pooch! So, why did I decide to become a pet sitter? I am an authentic animal lover since I was very young, I remember hiding 15 kitties in a room that I rescued from the streets of my town when I was 11 years old. I Will never forget how happy I felt while taking care of those kitties. I truly believe that we are successful when we put our heart and passion on those things we love to do, That is why I have chosen this amazing, wonderful and rewarding career. And that is my mission, to provide you with peace of mind, professionalism, and lots of love, care and attention to your beloved pet while you are busy. I am also a musician and an art lover, I love to play the piano. My services are very flexible depending on your pet needs and personality, it usually includes fun walks, a playing session, a tasty treat (if permitted), feeding, cleaning, belly rubbing, petting, kisses and love. I am also willing to do some simple tasks in your house like watering plants, picking up mail, taking garbage out, or anything you need for no extra fee. I had turtles, bunnies, chickens, birds, fishes, ducks, cats and of course, dogs. when I was 14 years old, I had a very special schnauzer female dog named Cachita, we spent 12 years together and she has an interesting story. She was the last of 5 puppies and she was rejected by her mother so I decided to feed her with a bottle, I fell instantly in love with her, she was so adorable that soon stole everybody's heart. I helped her out to deliver 4 puppies on my own in the middle of the night, fortunately, everything went right. She was a happy dog and I gave her all my love and care until she died due to age. I do not have any dogs in the present time, but I spend some of my time in shelters and also have worked in animal hospitals. My experience administering medication Yes, administering medications is not a problem to me if I have the accurate instructions to do so.
