Vet Techs who take care of pets!

Pet care experience

I’m a Maryland licensed veterinary technician with 35 years experience and owner of 2 beautiful black labs (Rye and Scoter) and a boxer /bully mix (Duke). I’ve dedicated my life to taking care of pets and wouldn’t do anything else! I love big dogs, little dogs and everything in between!

Karen was great! We had our dog stay with her overnight the night of our wedding. This was the first time we had ever left him with someone who was not a close family member, so we had a lot of questions about how she would manage our dog in relation to her own pups. Our dog can be selective, so we had a meet and greet beforehand, and Karen’s wonderful demeanor and years of knowledge about all breeds made our meet and greet a wonderful experience. On the day and night our dog stayed with her, we got so many updates, videos, and pictures of our dog having a fantastic time running around her huge yard. It was such a relief to know our dog was safe and happy while we enjoyed our wedding. We cannot wait to have him stay with Karen again!

I can't be happier with Karen. She is so well qualified. She is a vet tech, has a large fenced yard with a mulch covered area, the main floor is epoxy covered concrete so it can be easily & properly cleaned, she sent 3 sets of pictures & 1 video for is, her mother-in-law spent time brushing & loving on our doggie, and our dog is older & needs special help, which she was happy to do. She even checked with us the next day to see how the dog was doing after the visit. Defiantly above & beyond. Any time I'm in OC area, she will be called. Too bad she doesn't live out here! Thank you Karen!

Your pet will treated as one of our own. They’re with us, hanging out either in the house or outside, in the large fenced in yard. They have plenty of time to play, sunbathe or simply relax in the AC if they’d prefer! We want the pups that stay with us to experience as little stress as possible, but to ultimately enjoy themselves as best they can! I require owners to provide a copy of their pups vaccination history. The importance of this to me is not only to protect my own pups, but also those campers that are spending time with us! As I’ve mentioned I’m an RVT in the state of Maryland and worked in the veterinary industry for 35 years. I am currently certified in BLS and ALS (pet CPR) and am able to administer a variety of medications a pet may need. My training and experience also provides me an ability to notice injuries and illnesses. These observations would be communicated to the pet parent.
