Lots of room to run!
Pet care experience
My husband and I are both retired school teachers. We have a studio downstairs where we both work on our art, he is a photographer and I am a weaver. We have a big sun room inside and lots of room outside to run and play. We have always had 2-3 dogs, but with our children grown and gone we just have one dog. We walk our dog twice a day and no need for a leash, dogs can run free. My husband and I are both home either in the house or studio and dogs can follow and stay with us or nap in sun room or studio. In the evening dogs will sleep in the sun room where there is a heater and dog beds.The sunroom has lots of windows for sun, fresh air and watching the birds. It's doggy heaven where we live.

Karen was a phenomenal dog sitter. We were lucky enough to have Karen at our home to stay with our two dogs while we were out of town. Karen took the dogs for long hikes every day and sometimes twice a day. When we came home we could tell our dogs were so well-loved because of their calm and not worked-up demeanor. Karen communicated throughout the entirety of our stay keeping us updated. Karen also kept our home very clean and tidy and even took care of our plants without being asked. Most of all though, our flight home was canceled and we were gone an extra day, Karen was quick to volunteer to stay an extra night with the dogs and be flexible and so kind. Exceeded our expectations and made our time away from our pups stress free, thank you so much Karen!
Taj’s stay with Karen was fantastic! He got long walks every day, and she was always quick to reply to let us know how our guy was doing. It was clear when she dropped him off how much he loved his stay with her, and how she took care of him like her own! Thanks so much, Karen!
Butter had a wonderful stay in a rural setting where she was able to run free & hike & walk daily. I’m worried she won’t want to come home!
I have known Karen for a long time, I think she would be a great pet sitter. Karen is kind, caring and responsible - and loves animals. I've seen her care for her own pets and others. Karen is very concerned about animals and their environment, she won't use insecticides on her property because of her animals and wildlife and she has many bird feeders on her property.
