I have always had a dog, used to take care of the neighborhood dogs, take to walks or the neighbors just leave them at my house for me to take care of them.

I love to stimulate them by doing walks and taking them to new paths where they can smell flowers and inspect around them. I also them be around other dogs if the owners are okay with that
