Dogs bring me Joy!
Pet care experience
I'm on rover because I've had dogs my whole life. I'm looking to spend more times with animals, and right now I don't have a dog of my own and I really miss having one around. I really feel like my home isn't complete without a dog. My home is pet friendly. I live on a large property with surrounding preserved land and tons of space for running around. I'm an owner of a floral botanical business. I'm also semi-retired and am flexible with my availability. I enjoy my bohemian entrepreneurial lifestyle, and believe that rover is a perfect fit for me. I'm a mother of three grown children, I've practiced nursing in the past, and have a healthy spiritual home. I am currently studying to be a certified Animal Reiki Practitioner. I enjoy reading, sitting by the fire, listening to music (radio, xpn etc.), spending time outside, with family and friends, and working in my studio.

Karen provided a wonderful home-away-from-home for our little Bichon mix on her beautiful property. Lots of love, attention, and room -- our dog had just as nice a vacation as we did!
Karen kept our 10-week old puppy for two nights and we could not be happier. For us there were several factors that we liked: no other big dogs in the house, no children and she only took one guest at a time. We got daily updates and puppy got really spoiled rotten for two days. We would hire Karen again.
Karen is a great Dogsitter! My dog is quite nervous around new people and Karen put both of us at ease immediately. He had a wonderful time with her and came home relaxed and happy. Her property is a great place for dogs and I will definitely be using her again.
Karen is a very loving person with a keen gentleness when taking care of dogs. She treats every dog she watches as if they were her own, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to have their dog watched by someone who truly cares when doing so. Karen has experience with a wide array of dog breeds, ranging from Shih Tzus to Labrador Retrievers. Karen’s intuition combined with her assertiveness and kindness makes her an awesome Candidate for dog sitting.

i currently work part-time, so I have time for activities. I will take them on car rides, if they like that. Fetching balls and baby pools are fun.
