Pet care experience
I am a former preschool teacher/assistant director, now at home. I am originally from California. Arizona has been my home for 2 yrs now. I have a 4 year old pup, Fozzie and his 6 yr old dog sister, Alley. They both love to engage and learn so we still continue training a bit throughout the day. Fozzie is 11 lbs, very friendly, calm and loving. Alley is 90 lbs, very friendly, calm and loving, a gentle giant. I have a 13 yr old step daughter who is here every other week. She has been fostering and training dogs at her mom's for a few years so she likes to help. Fozzie was sick when we got him as a puppy and I would stay up with him many nights, giving him medicine and comforting him. Before Fozzie, I had a corgi named Nero for almost 13 years. He was diagnosed with ivdd and eventually lost the use of his back legs, I cared for him and was home dedicated to taking care of him the last year and half of his life. I am a very nurturing person and love animals. I promise to take care of your bundle of joy as if he or she were my own dog.
Reviews
Karen and her pup, Fozzie, were the perfect pair for Merlin when we left the country for a week. Merl had the best time playing with Foz and we got regular updates and photos of their adventures! We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Merl was in great hands, and are pretty sure he was so busy playing that he didn't even miss us.
My dogs are always excited to see Karen and love hanging out with her. She has gained my demanding dachshund's respect, by saying "no" to him. Now they are best buds. She won over my nervous rescue dog instantly with her warm and nurturing personality. The best part is getting to hangout with her dog, Fozzie.
Karen has watched Tabi on occasion since Tabi was really young, and has been a lifesaver. Tabi absolutely adores her, so you can be assured that your pup will too. She is very careful in making sure Tabi is safe and comfortable at her home, and her puppy Fozzie is absolutely wonderful. He gets along with all dogs (literally, I have never seen him be anything but friendly with anyone/anything!) and will help make your pup feel at home.
Karen is amazing! Whenever I've tried to use a sitter or board my dog, he is miserable and desperate to come home. With Karen and Fozzie though, he is happy and relaxed and almost doesn't want to leave!

My dogs are very friendly with other dogs however, I would like to make sure your baby gets along with my babies before sitting/boarding. Perhaps going for a walk or having a playdate together could be comfortable for all.
A typical day
Alley, Fozzie and I take walks around the neighborhood and enjoy playing in our backyard throughout the day. Alley loves swimming in our pool. We also venture out to parks and to dog friendly restaurants/bars in the neighborhood. We have lots of toys to share, the dogs are great with sharing.
