Pet care experience
I have 40 years of loving care and training of personal pets including large breed dogs. But, I also have rescued and raised 2 cats, an exotic parrot, tortoise, turtle, possums, tarantula, rats and mice, ferret, hermit crabs, and fresh and saltwater aquariums. I am an Accredited Veterinary Assistant capable of administrating oral and injected medications. I volunteered for 2 years as a wildlife rehab and release specialist. Additionally I have had 5 years volunteering and training shelter dogs of all breeds. In Costa Rica, I started my own pet sitting and training business which I did for 1 1/2 years. I believe that all pets should be loved and cared for with the utmost respect. Your pet will be cherished.

Karen was excellent! Our dog was getting over pneumonia and required special attention. Karen took every precaution and worried about her just like she was her own. She sent photos, was responsive when we had questions, and left a detailed note about where her care left off the day we returned. She also left the house cleaner than she found it. I love walking and playing on the beach, parks, and doggie parks if your pet likes them. If your dog prefers traveling in the car, we can add a variety of fun places and walking trails.
