Experienced and Loving Pet Care

Pet care experience

Hi there! I'm Karalee. My experience ranges from big to small, fluffy to scaly, and young to old. I have always loved animals, and found a way to have them in my life. I currently work as a dog groomer, and have for several years. However, I have also worked in barns, pet stores, and animal shelters. I love getting to know all sorts of personalities. From the more loud and boisterous, to the more reserved and shy, my awareness of animal behavior helps me to provide the most comfortable and positive interactions for your pet. Currently, I am only taking on new kitty/small animal clientele. However, if you have a pup I have watched in the past, feel free to reach out as well. I look forward to talking more with you about your fur babies.

My boys remembered Karalee and were very talkative with her. They enjoyed the time she spent with them, which was such a relief to me.

This is our second time booking Karalee. I can't say enough amazing things, I would consider myself a bit of a neurotic dog-mom and I can't imagine leaving my furbabies with ANYONE else,I don't even leave them with friends and family. They love her and she does amazing with them, I'm pretty sure they are dissapointed when she leaves and we come home!

Safety, trust & environment

Before booking a service with a new client, I always request that we schedule an in-person meet and greet. Meeting in person makes it much easier to build trust, as not all pets or humans are instantly at ease with an unfamiliar person in their home. It also helps me to learn the specific details pertaining to my visit. Once I am working with my new furry best friend, I try to match their routine as best as possible. This means learning what time breakfast and dinner typically happen, what their favorite activity is, and any other little routines they may have. Overall, I strive to care for each client as though I was caring for my own. This means lots of love, LOTS of pictures, and regular updates to ensure you know how your pets are doing. And also, as a guest in your home, I will always do my best to leave your home as orderly and clean as it was when I arrived!

Information Karalee O. would like to know about your pet

Its important for me to understand any triggers for your dog (separation anxiety, leash aggression, etc.), what you are/if you are working on training, and what their absolute favorite activity is.

A typical day

Walks are such a great way to bond with dogs, and I would plan on doing what felt best for your dogs energy needs. While my own dog loves to take big hikes and I know a number of trails, I think that walking around the neighborhood can be great as well for more nervous dogs or seniors.

Availability

I work during the day about half of the week, so usually I am available to do drop-ins during the later part of the afternoon, evening, and early morning hours. However, feel free to ask if you need something different and I will let you know what I can do! I would also like to mention that I have limited my services for all new clients to the Lewiston/Auburn area so that I can spend more time with clients and less time traveling to and from. If you are still interested in my services and are located just outside of this radius, feel free to send me a message and I will let you know if I can make it work.
