Hello, my name is Kara! I am excited to finally own a home so I am able to be on here and offer a loving home versus a kennel for your fur baby! My hope is to be a home away from home for your four-legged family member. Whether you need overnight, full or part day care, I'm here for you! Also sometimes emergencies come up and you need last minute care, life happens and I want you to feel comfortable knowing you have a safe place that your furry companion can stay. I grew up with dogs and have always loved them. I got my own first fur baby when I was 15, with going off to college my Grandma offered to take her since I trained her so well, she said. :) My Husband and I currently have a 5 y/o and 1 y/o daughters and 5yr old fur daughter. They absolutely love each other, I love being able to have other dogs over to give Kelsey social time.

Second time staying with Kara. Neil had a great time
Kara is my ANGEL! I was having a hard time finding someone responsive in my area. I got back on Rover to look again for someone to use as a dog sitter 1-2x/week for my dog and I came across Kara this time. She responded quickly and was so very friendly. When I met her there was an instant connection, not only with me, but with my dog. She is such a sweet, caring person and my dog has been over twice now. She literally whined the first time she got home from Kara’s house bc she didn’t want to leave. She came home tired (which is what I wanted) and happy. I am so thankful I found Kara. I cannot speak highly enough.
Kara and her family took wonderful care of my boy while we were gone for 2 weeks. We got constant updates and she kept me updated on his well being while we were gone. Thanks for watching over Han!
My dog had a great stay with Kara. She is always a little scared/skittish when she meets new people and Kara and her husband gave her time to get used to everything new and loved on her so she would be comfortable. They were absolutely fabulous!!

I love all sizes of dogs and I treat them just like my own. I like to have a meet and great before just so your dog can meet and get comfortable with me. It's also my time to learn about what makes your dog unique and special! That helps me care for them the way they know and love :)
A typical day
I am a very loving pet Momma. I love to get outside and exercise and play. We have a great fenced in area that I plan on expanding. We also fill up the kiddie pool to cool off during the day. Dogs that I have known a long time (as well as their parents) I will take into our 9 acre pond for a good swim, my fur pup Kelsey loves it and will swim all day, if I let her!
