Pet care experience
I am a huge dog lover and put a lot of care into watching and walking pups. My primary experience has been with house sitting and walking medium to large dogs (german shepherds, golden retrievers, labradors, huskies, pitties), so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I grew up with a golden retriever and a german shepherd mix. I have experience administering topical and oral medication. I am also comfortable watching multiple animals if you have more than one. I have watched 2+ dogs together, as well as cats and chickens. I am currently a graduate student and am regularly available to dog-sit on weekends (Friday through Sunday night) at your house. I am often available on weekdays for dogsitting as well, depending on the week. I can make drop in visits mid-day (lunch time), and in the evenings starting at 5 pm every day of the week. I am currently renting, so I am not able to offer dog sitting services in my home at this time. I will update this section if that changes.

Kara has taken care of our dogs, cats, chickens and bunny for a number of years now. She is fantastic with all of them. Absolutely reliable, completely trustworthy. She must have a lot of fun with them cause they start getting excited when they see us packing knowing that she will be coming over. We highly recommend Kara.
Kara has watched our dog, Bueller, on several occasions. She loves him nearly as much as we do. Kara keeps us updated with photos of their excursions, including trips to the park and puppy parties. She is kind, responsible, and courteous -- she always reviews his schedule and double-checks before taking him places or giving him treats. Highly recommend letting your pet be loved by Kara :)

The main information I am interested in are your dog’s preferences for going to the bathroom (do they need to be walked to do so, do they go in the yard, how long can they be in the house between bathroom breaks?) and how well your dog gets along with other animals and people, that way I know how they socialize out on walks. I also like to know if the dog is comfortable off leash if we find a quiet place to play at the park.
A typical day
When I watch your dog we will go on walks around your neighborhood, and I often try to find a nearby park when I watch them for multiple days, so that we can play in a large open space and run around. On single-walk or drop-in visits I tend to stick to the streets right around the house. Throughout my visit, I will be giving your dog all the pats and attention they could want!!
