I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine being without them! There is nothing that makes me happier than waking up and coming home to a wagging tail and a wet nose. I grew up with labs - big ol’ boys weighing 100 pounds. I adored them and so began my love of pups big and small. I currently have a 9 year old boy, Chance. He was adopted at age 6 and has some anxiety - however he is the sweetest, most loyal boy I’ve ever met. Up until very recently I also had two older girls - Tipper (who I adopted 13 years ago) and Coco (who I adopted 4 years ago after she was surrendered at age 12). Each passed within the last few months and, I must admit, is the reason I have returned to Rover. I know we are not in a position to add to our family but I miss the fun of multiple dogs! I can tell Chance is lonely too. I have extra love to give and would love to spoil your pup while you’re gone. My goal is to provide your dog with individualized love and support.. Maybe a few treats too. I am a teacher so my schedule will change within the next few months however I have flexibility in my day to drop in, walk or board at my house! My husband works full time from home so there’s always someone here for belly rubs and pee breaks. I have a a fenced in yard and room to run. We have plenty of space if dogs need their own space and plenty of availability for pee breaks, belly rubs and treats.
