Pet care experience
I am a stay-at-home mom and pet lover 24/7. I am more than happy to stop by early in the morning or for an evening check in (as late as 8pm). I am free every day of the week, weekends included. If it is a drop in or walk before 4pm on weekdays, I will have my 2 year old daughter with me, so I am looking for furry friends that do well with kids! I treat all animals as if they were my own, with love and respect. I want animals to approach me first, allowing them to smell my scent and come to me with their own comfort levels. Once our relationship is developed, I love a good snuggle session. I enjoy going on daily walks (weather permitting) and I would love a furry friend to join me. I love cuddles and playing games, especially fetch and tug of war. 10+ years of experience in training and caring for both dogs and cats. Experience watching and caring for dogs of all sizes and ages as well as cats for several years. I am a non-smoker. I’m willing to help with training, feedings, and administering oral medications if needed. I love playing with kittens and enjoy accepting kitty only requests! Flexible hours and pricing to accommodate all. I request at least 1-3 day notice of any cancellations. Kara took great care of my two kitties while I was away for a long weekend. Her communication was awesome and I appreciated the many pictures she took during each visit. My shy and anxious cat even warmed up to her very quickly!
Kara has shown to be trustworthy, dependable, honest and most of all flexible when watching/walking our multiple dogs while we were away. We will absolutely be utilizing her care going forward.

Kara stayed with my big, 6 month old, rottweiler puppy while he was recovering from surgery and she was so wonderful! She is very communicative, professional and she sent me pics and updates while I was gone. I felt very comfortable and worry-free leaving Wilbur in her care even though he was high maintenance and needed to be closely monitored.

At this time I do not offer care in my own home, but would be happy to serve you and your furry friends! If you have a fenced back yard I would love to play fetch and run around with your pups in the yard, or take them for walks around your neighborhood during drop-in visits. I can also offer watering of plants, feeding of fish, and bringing in mail/packages for you. I always clean up and wipe down common high touch surfaces areas to prevent the spread of germs after my stay, and will wash out your pups food and water dish during my stay!

At this time I prefer low maintenance animals who love all the snuggles, scratches, and indoor or backyard play. As I will have my daughter with me, I will only agree to walk dogs who are leash trained and not leash or dog aggressive.

I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old daughter. I prefer mid day to evening drop ins to allow for plenty of family time but can accommodate requests on a case by case basis.
